What to send us
The more of this you include, the more exact our answer:
- A photo of the module label. The part number on the label tells us the unit family, and the family sets the price and what to ship. Take it straight on, in good light, so every character reads.
- The part number typed out, if the photo is hard to read. You can also check it yourself in the part-number lookup.
- Year, make and model — and the VIN. Many ABS modules carry the VIN and configuration of their vehicle, so the VIN helps us confirm the right unit.
- The fault codes, if you have scanned it, and which lights are on: ABS, traction, stability or brake.
- What has already been checked or replaced — battery, fuses, grounds, wheel-speed sensors, wiring.
- Your RMA number, if you already have an order. It is on every email we send about it.
Mailing a module
Get your RMA first. Order online, or ask first — the RMA comes by email, and the prepaid label to our lab follows once payment clears. The label is already addressed to us, so you don't need to look up an address. See the mail-in instructions for removing and packing the module.
