ABS Module Lab

ABS module repair from $499 — every unit family, one starting price

Whichever unit your vehicle uses, you pay the same starting price: repair your own module from $499, or a refurbished replacement with your data cloned on from $950. Look up the part number on your label to find your family — or order the any-make repair and we identify it on arrival, telling you before any work if anything changes the price.

Bosch

Bosch ABS / ESP 5.3

A Bosch hydraulic unit — pump motor and valve block — with the electronic control unit mounted on the valve block. We bench the control unit: power, ground and communication, the pump-motor and valve driver circuits, and the internal connections between the board and the valve coils.

Bosch

Bosch ABS / ESP 5.7

A Bosch hydraulic unit with the control unit mounted on the valve block. The bench work is the same as on other Bosch units: power and communication first, then the motor and valve driver circuits and the board-to-coil connections.

Bosch

Bosch ABS / ESP 8

A Bosch hydraulic unit with an integrated control unit. Like every unit we take in, it is identified by the label, read on the bench, and either repaired or replaced with a refurbished unit carrying your vehicle’s data.

Bosch

Bosch ABS / ESP 9

A Bosch hydraulic unit with an integrated control unit, found on newer vehicles. Identified from the label and part number, then benched or swapped for a refurbished unit programmed with your data.

Continental (ATE / Teves)

ATE / Continental MK25

An ATE (Continental Teves) ABS / ESP unit — pump, valve block and a control unit mounted on it. Benched for power, communication, motor and valve driver faults.

Continental (ATE / Teves)

ATE / Continental MK60 / MK61

An ATE (Continental Teves) ABS / ESP unit with the control unit mounted on the valve block. Benched for power, communication, motor and valve driver faults; your vehicle’s coding stays with the module.

Kelsey-Hayes (TRW)

Kelsey-Hayes EBC325

A Kelsey-Hayes electronic brake control module (EBCM) bolted to the brake pressure modulator valve. The control module comes off the valve body on its own, which is what makes it a mail-in job: only the module ships.

ZF TRW

TRW EBC 345 / 440 / 450

A TRW electronic brake control module (EBC family) mounted on the brake pressure modulator valve. The module separates from the valve body, so only the module ships to the bench.

Toyota / Lexus

Toyota / Lexus brake actuator (ABS / VSC)

Toyota and Lexus list the ABS / stability unit as the brake actuator assembly — pump, valve block and, on many models, the skid control ECU in one unit. Identified from the part number on the label, then benched or replaced with a refurbished unit. Hybrid brake actuators are a different job and are quoted separately.
