Bosch ABS / ESP 5.7 ABS module repair
Your Bosch 5.7 module back working and coded to your vehicle — repaired from $499, or replaced with a refurbished Bosch 5.7 carrying your data from $950.
A Bosch hydraulic unit with the control unit mounted on the valve block. The bench work is the same as on other Bosch units: power and communication first, then the motor and valve driver circuits and the board-to-coil connections.

Signs the Bosch 5.7 module itself has failed
- ●ABS, traction and stability warning lights on together
- ●Scan tool cannot talk to the ABS module (no communication / U-codes in other modules)
- ●Pump-motor or valve (solenoid) circuit codes that return after clearing
- ●Intermittent faults that come and go with temperature or bumps
- ●Wheel-speed signal codes on more than one wheel at once
What to ship for a Bosch 5.7
The control unit is mounted on the valve block. On many units it unbolts, so the brake lines stay on — send us a photo if you are not sure.
Replacement units
No advance exchange: your original module has to reach the bench first, because your vehicle’s data (VIN, coding and configuration) is read out of it and written into the refurbished unit. That is what lets the refurbished module install like your own.
Our promise
Can’t be repaired? You don’t pay for a repair.
If the bench finds your module past repair, we stop and tell you before doing anything else. Then you choose:
- 1A replacement — a refurbished unit of the same family with your VIN, coding and configuration cloned onto it, from $950. You pay only the difference from what you already paid, and we confirm the amount with you first.
- 2Your module back — with the repair price refunded, minus shipping costs.
Either way, nothing that changes your price happens without your OK.
Refund stages in our terms →ABS light on? Fix the module you already own.
Look up your part number and order online — we email you a prepaid label to our lab. Or send us a photo of the label and your VIN first, and we'll tell you what you have and what it costs.
