Reading a Chrysler ABS part number

Mopar (Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / Ram) - current 68xxxxxx sty

Eight digits followed by a two-letter revision suffix, e.g. 68259556AD. AA is the original release and the suffix advances AB, AC... as the part is revised (source: americanoemparts.com and hubeshub.com). The 68 prefix is described by americanoemparts.com as 'Stellantis-era (post-2009)'; note that t source ↗

Mopar (Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / Ram) - legacy 5xxxxxx / 4xx

Older Chrysler numbers are a 7- or 8-digit numeric string plus a two-letter revision suffix (e.g. 5083285AA).
