C0110
ABS / stability-control fault code, listed for 3 vehicle lines from Chevrolet. What it means on each one, with sources, and when the module is the cause.
What C0110 means
Pump Motor Circuit Malfunction (a rebuilder: seen with internal failure of the Equinox/Captiva/Colorado ABS pump and module)
On: 2010-2017 Chevrolet Equinox (second generation)
Pump Motor Circuit (2004 Express 3500 with C0201 + C0110; fix was a new ABS unit, part 19417944)
On: 2003-2017 Chevrolet Express 1500/2500/3500
Pump Motor Circuit Malfunction (2011 Sierra 1500: ABS motor running constantly with the truck off)
On: 2007-2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (GMT900)
Is it the ABS module?
Check the cheap things first: battery voltage and the main fuses for the ABS pump and module, the ground straps, the module connector (corrosion, a pushed-back pin) and, for wheel-speed codes, the sensor and its wiring at each wheel. If those are good and the code returns as soon as it is cleared — or the scan tool cannot talk to the ABS module at all — the module itself is the likely cause, and that is what we repair.
