    A rebuilder: P2 brake control modules fail with no communication and ABS light on, and when the pump motor does not work or works sporadically the car logs a combination of BCM-0070/0071/0072 and BCM-C002001/C00201C/C002071 - then the module AND pump must be sent. source ↗

  • 1998-2004 Volvo S80 (2000-2001)

    A rebuilder: the most common reason for premature failure of this Volvo ABS module is cold solder joints (cracked solder around the terminals), giving false ABS sensor codes or loss of communication; malfunctioning ABS pump drivers are also a very common cause. source ↗

  • 2007-2015 Volvo S80 (P3, 2007-2014)

    A rebuilder: the P3 pump motor is integral to the hydraulic block; a worn motor (runs only when tapped, noisy, blows its main fuse) takes out the main pump driver in the module, so the block AND module must be repaired together. source ↗
